Helping Kids Succeed in the Real World

At Journey Pediatric Therapy, we know some of the best learning happens outside the clinic, in real-life settings where kids can practice their skills with support and encouragement. We believe in creating meaningful experiences that inspire and connect. Let us help you bring your vision to life.

Get in Touch

That’s why we offer Community Outing Support Sessions, designed to help your child build confidence and independence in everyday experiences such as:

  •  Haircuts
  • Eating at a restaurant
  • Dentist or doctor visits
  • Grocery store trips
  • Playgrounds or community events

These outings give your child the chance to practice communication, sensory regulation, social interaction, and coping strategies with the support of a licensed occupational therapist (OT) or speech therapist (ST).

This service is not considered therapy. It is a private-pay opportunity to receive professional support from an OT or ST in a real-world environment. These sessions are meant to help generalize skills and build confidence — not to replace formal therapy services.
